Frequently Asked Questions
We offer courses from A1 to B2 following the CEFR. Specialized Goethe-Institut exam preparation is also available.
Prices are set per level and shown on the cards above. Long-term programmes are discounted, and exam preparation is priced separately. Contact us for a detailed quote.
Intensive classes run in five-week blocks. Weeks 1–4 cover core instruction and week 5 is reserved for revision, diagnostic assessment and exam preparation. Sessions are 1–2 hours, and normally run for the full two hours.
Long-term programmes span three or six months at a reduced rate. The early months work steadily through the curriculum, and the final month of any programme is given over entirely to review, consolidation and final exam preparation. Session length is agreed at enrolment — usually 30 minutes to an hour, depending on the level.
In short: choose intensive if you want to move quickly in a focused block, and a long-term programme if you would rather build steadily and pay less per month.
Yes. Kids and toddler classes are playful and led by songs, stories and games rather than grammar drills.
A few things to know before enrolling. Anyone under 18 needs written consent from a parent or legal guardian. For toddler and early-childhood classes a parent or guardian must stay in the room, or within immediate viewing distance, for the whole lesson to help with technical issues and keep the child engaged. Toddler sessions are capped at 30 minutes, because that is realistically as long as attention holds — and if a child becomes very tired or unsettled, the tutor may end the session early.
Only on the six-month programme. The three-month programme is paid upfront, at 5% off — there is no instalment option on it.
On the six-month programme you pay a deposit of 50% of the discounted rate to secure your booking. The remaining half carries a 7% administrative fee and is split into three equal monthly payments, made in the second, third and fourth months of the programme.
For A1 at $150 a month, that is a $418.50 deposit followed by three payments of $149.27.
Paying in full upfront is cheaper. The same A1 programme costs $837 paid upfront against $866.30 in instalments — a difference of about $29, which is the administrative fee. Instalments exist to spread the cost, not to reduce it.
There is a one-week grace period on every instalment date, and a payment made inside that week costs nothing extra — that is what the week is there for.
If it is still unpaid after that week, lessons, platform access and your reserved calendar slots are suspended. To restart, the overdue amount is payable along with a reinstatement fee of $15 for A1 and A2, or $30 for B1 and B2. That is the only fee for paying late; there is no separate charge on top of it.
Two weeks after the grace period the slot itself is released and offered to another student, new or from the waiting list. So if money is going to be tight in a given month, tell us early — that is a conversation, and losing the slot is not.
Lesson time lost while an account is suspended cannot be recovered.
